Every day, we craft highly tailored sleep solutions, schedules, and routines that support the developmental picture and unique temperament of an individual child as well as the family as a whole.
When you have a plan that is right for your child and for you, then you are no longer trying yet another thing and hoping sleep gets better, and you can be consistent and confident and ensure better nights for now and for the long run.
I’m Natalie, owner and lead sleep expert here at Sleepy On Hudson. Alongside obtaining a certification in Pediatric Sleep Training, I also have an educational focus in Early Childhood Education & Certified Postpartum Doula. My career as a sleep consultant began after seeing so many families struggle with sleep.
I developed a passion for helping parents with their little one’s sleep when I witnessed the significant effects it had on a family as a whole. I have over 10 years working as a nanny for multiple families. Within that time, I realized that every child’s situation is different and each child responds differently to various sleep training methods. I make sure to create my sleep plans for each child as an individual.
My favorite part of this service is being able to bring joy, and much needed rest back into so many homes. That to me, is magic. I pride myself in being calm, supportive, and compassionate. I am flexible and can adapt to your goals. I offer both, in- home and over the phone support .
When I am not working, I am making sweet memories with my niece, enjoying time with friends & family, lifting weights at CrossFit, or keeping cozy at home with a hot cup of tea.
It might seem impossible, but a good night's sleep is closer than you think if you have the right plan that supports you and your child. At Bank Street's Graduate School of Education, Brooke (MS Ed. 2003) learned to apply a developmental lens to her teaching and curriculum design. When she founded Sleepy On Hudson in 2009, she brought and applied this training to infant, baby, and toddler sleep. She is one of Kim West's first 50 Gentle Sleep Coaches and has worked with over 1,500 families with children of all ages.
As of January 2021, Brooke now proudly serves as an advisor to the practice.
